Yay for Cable! And yay for new shoes! Actually, if I start getting called to sub, I'll need new shoes. And clothes. Staying home for 15 or so years does amazing things to your work wardrobe!

You know, sometimes I need to overschedule, or at least to schedule, but I'm trying to work around my personal style. A little here, then something else, then a little more, then a break. . .at least a little schedule gives me some structure. Right now, I've dropped off the car, cleaned all the crud off the counter, put the kids' halloween candy in bowls instead of plastic bags (plastic bags - serious decorating no-no!)unloaded and loaded the dishwasher and hand washed the stuff that can't go in the dishwasher. After I waste some time here, I'll finish the kitchen, then get on the treadmill for two Daily Shows' worth of time, do the physical therapy exercises, shower, then watch a real grownup movie with the hubby. In between, I'll get laundry going - that's not really work until folding time.

Judy's going in on the 13th. She has no idea. That's for the best, I think.

So little motivation?...YOU?...to wash the kitchen floor?...after your day? You put it on your list, didn't you... and now since you didn't get to it, you've upset yourself. Not to diminish you in any way, but, you are the only one that the list really matters to -or your schedule-. I'd say that family, including the dog, comes first, always, and all else can wait (and usually does). A big challange for you will be to NOT over schedule yourself and leave -lots- of room for the unexpected...especially during the rest of Mercury Retro in the next two weeks.
Poor Judy! She's such a timid/fearful thing. This surgery may do her in,emotionally, for a while. Poor sad doggy.
But she'll get new shoes, bless her heart...or is that YOU who will get the new shoes? Heh.

Lots of love, G.
PS. We seem to have cable! WooHoo! All the same, Barry has put us in to be notified when Verizon is in our area. So there! Ha!
