I’ve been so tired, and mine is just mushy.
Tuesday I was surprised in the morning by a call from one of the schools to come in and substitute teach. After all the waiting and the communications problems, it was the last thing I expected. Wouldn’t you know, when I got the mail after I came home, there was my official county certification to substitute teach. Sheesh. Well, I couldn’t answer the calls for the rest of the week, because my schedule was full, but I’m starting to arrange appointments for afternoons and evenings so I can say yes to those early morning calls.
Wednesday, I had to get my teeth cleaned, so I headed up to Paramus to have lunch with Janet, then pick up a bureau and some other stuff at IKEA, then do the grocery shopping at Wegman’s on the way back. Ugh. Long, long day.
Thursday, I was so tired, I just couldn’t stay awake. I went back to sleep, and some 40 minutes after I dropped off, the water delivery company called. Four times in a row, without leaving a message. I couldn’t go back to sleep, and couldn’t really function for the rest of the day. Hubby pointed out that it was likely my sinuses squeezing my brains out my ears because a big windy storm was coming. I can never sleep when storms are coming.
Today I took the pooch in for yet another bandage change. She’d have no bandage at all by now if she hadn’t chewed her stitches out. Stooopid dog. Then physical therapy, which was good because my back wasn’t too happy about the IKEA bureau that I loaded into the van. Hubby had a vacation day, so we popped “Clerks 2″ into the DVD player while the kids were still in school. Kevin Smith has outdone himself. This movie was great! If you saw the first and you like Kevin Smith, this is a must-see, but his humor is not for everyone. But we were rolling. . .hilarious.
Tomorrow I take Audrey up for her auditions for Shore Intermediate Band. Wish her luck.
