What do YOU do on an Unseasonably Warm Day?

Well, if you’re lucky, you go out driving with your windows down.  And you buy beads.  Then you dig out a hunk of drywall so hubby can fix the hole in the wall.  The right way.  I like to say that as a carpenter (plumber, electrician, etc.) the previous owner was a great. . .chiropractor.  They never quite managed to figure out how to keep the doorknob from slamming into the wall, so apparently they simply kept applying more gobs of spackle every time the doorknob slammed into the wall.  Before we screwed the two dollar doorstop in, the doorknob slammed into the wall, and we haven’t gotten around to fixing it the right way until today.  Hubby cut the hole to a reasonable size so he could attach a piece of wood into the studs to anchor the new drywall, and took this out from the hole:

I found some duct tape around the plumbing in the master bathroom, too.  It’s Deja Vu all over again.
