Possummamma writes Atheist in a Minivan, and this post about her 11-year-old daughter’s essay has been linked all over. I’m late coming in, as usual. The teacher asked the students to write “pop essay” about what they wanted for Christmas, and this young girl was eloquent and empathetic. The link will take you to the post, at top, and the comments, which number over 150 at this point. If you have time, they’re very interesting, and the rest of the blog is worth exploring as well.
