So, we all had a lovely time this weekend. Our hotel wasn’t far, only out in Flemington, so Saturday morning, we went out to Jim and Laura’s, let the kids sled and snowboard and get really wet. After lunch, we headed to Northlandz, which, while enjoyable, is a bit the worse for wear since I saw it many years ago. Even plexiglass walls couldn’t dissuade some of the more determined vandals, it seems. From there, we hit the hotel, let the kids swim for a few hours, went out to dinner, let the kids swim for a little longer, and then stayed up too late. We had breakfast, went back up to Jim and Laura’s, then off to Bloomfield for a birthday ice skating party, where the kids got to see more of their friends from the old neighborhood.
We’re working on our plans to stock up on half price ride tickets for the summer, plus a trip to Philly for the Tutankhamun exhibit, NYC to see “Bodies”, and who knows what else. Quality time, folks.
