I’m starting to wonder about these. Hubby set up FrontPage so that I’d get mail every time someone left a comment (because I discovered, quite by accident, that I’d been spammed on some old posts by one of those automated spam-’til-you-die bots, and deleting the spam comments was one of the biggest PITA’s I’d had in the history of alison.com in all its various forms.) Now, I’m not sure if that’s what did it, or whether it’s something set up with one of the blog search sites I’m pinging, but I’m getting an inbox full of “weblog referrals”. And no damn comments, you weblog referral search type people! Then again, I suppose no comments is better than 500 comments all saying stuff like “very informative site. Well done! Go visit!” and a link to some stupid spammer’s spammy spam spam site.
