Weblog Referral Attack!

Weblog Referral Attack!

I’m starting to wonder about these.  Hubby set up FrontPage so that I’d get mail every time someone left a comment (because I discovered, quite by accident, that I’d been spammed on some old posts by one of those automated spam-’til-you-die bots, and deleting the spam comments was one of the biggest PITA’s I’d had in the history of alison.com in all its various forms.)  Now, I’m not sure if that’s what did it, or whether it’s something set up with one of the blog search sites I’m pinging, but I’m getting an inbox full of “weblog referrals”.  And no damn comments, you weblog referral search type people!  Then again, I suppose no comments is better than 500 comments all saying stuff like “very informative site.  Well done!  Go visit!” and a link to some stupid spammer’s spammy spam spam site.  I am going to find out where one of these spammers lives and send him my dog, so she can go rushing in and out of the house while >he’s< struggling with a basket of laundry and a disturbed nest of angry hornets and slam the door into his forehead.
