Busy Playing!

Busy Playing!

I found a few tutorials for polymer clay on the web, and had to try them out right away. The fun part is done – the mixing, the shaping, seeing how the pieces come out of the oven. Today was the not-fun part. Sanding, buffing, and varnishing. I know that practice will make perfect, but there’s got to be another way! Well, when everything’s dry, I’ll put up pictures.

To her, the litter boxes in a six-cat household represent a doggie smorgasbord. And after she finishes her little fecal snacks, she’s so happy she has to come and lick you. It doesn’t take long to figure out where she’s been. Gross. Ewwww. Yuck. Either I need to find a cat food supplement that will repel the dog (they make one to make dog feces taste bad, but that’s not her cuisine of choice) or a minty-fresh cat litter so she doesn’t reek so much.

Why is it

Why is it

that when the kids have sleepovers, I end up more tired than they are? Geez Louise.

In other news, alisonsews.com is now on wordpress, so I’m finally going to be able to build it right. Many thanks and smoochies to Mr. Hubby Dude. I’ll be moving posts and pictures, then playing with the theme. Unlike the godaddy software, this is actually flexible, and requires very little understanding of HTML to customize. And now I’ll have to do more sewing so I’ll have stuff to blog about. Heh.
